Matt Horine Promoted to President

West Chester, Ohio – AP Tech Group Inc., a leading manufacturer of solid chemistry technology for the water industry, is excited to announce the promotion of Matt Horine to President.

“Elevating Matt’s role to President was an integral decision for the vision of the future success of AP Tech. Matt has the innate ability to connect with people and foster relationships and he has been a key player in AP Tech’s growth. We recognize his many contributions to the business and look forward to his continued innovative leadership,” stated AP Tech CEO, Katie Lee.

Horine holds 19 years of water treatment experience with AP Tech. “Having started with AP Tech early in its history, I have been able to be a part of and experience the company’s growth, participating in all facets of the business from production, product development, technical support and sales. I am extremely excited to see AP Tech continue to evolve and to be a part of the leadership team helping shape the company,” stated Horine.

Prior to his new role, Horine served AP Tech as Vice President of Engineering from 2009-2017, then as Managing Director from 2017–2021. In his new role Horine will lead the execution of the company’s strategies for growth in its core water treatment market along with working with CEO, Katie Lee, to align longer term strategies for the continued growth of AP Tech. In addition, he will continue to work closely with key partners and build relationships within the industry.

Horine is a Chemical Engineer and graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife and two children.
