Welcome to AP Tech, the pioneer and global leader in solid chemistry water treatment solutions. Established in 1999 by the innovative chemist Jim Heimert, the company embarked on a mission to transform the water treatment industry. Jim’s journey began in the 1970’s like many others in the field, focusing on utilizing liquid water treatment solutions for cooling, boiler, and closed loop systems. He soon realized a need for better solutions. His entrepreneurial and innovative spirit drove him to engineer solid chemistry – a safer and more efficient water treatment solution – and subsequently in 2002, he began manufacturing and selling to water treatment companies.
Our solid chemistry technology provides the same water treatment effectiveness as traditional liquid chemicals but in a form that eliminates unnecessary fillers and water. This ensures that only the essential chemistry is utilized, maximizing efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. Our products not only reduce the risks associated with transporting and handling hazardous liquid chemicals but also address the logistical challenges of shipping large drums or pails.
